The following chart lists those characters of the
Hebrew
character set that can be used in domain names in addition to the
characters which have been allowed ever since, namely the letters
»a« to »z«, the digits »0« to »9«, and the hyphen.
Apart from the characters listed here a
registry
may support further character sets. The
IDN country overview provides
detailed information on which character sets each of the registries allow.
The table contains the newly added characters, together with the hexadecimal
code (Codepoint according to Unicode V3.2) and a textual description.
If a character is shown as a box (Internet Explorer) or a question mark
(Netscape / Mozilla), then the character cannot be displayed correctly
with the fonts installed on your system.
